  I moved to Indian River County in 2010 to open my business. One of the first and best things I did for my business was join the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce. Vero Beach is very much a word of mouth and networking community. The networking opportunities offered by the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce have been extremely valuable in growing my business. Like any other endeavor, you get out of it what you put into it.

  Not sure what they really to support actively the local business members. Unfortunately they charge (in my opinion) very high yearly member ship fees calculated by the head-count of your employees (last I heard). Used to be member with no measurable increase of business based on our membership. I would rather invest in local advertising of some kind with hopefully more feedback and better results.

  Since joining the chamber on behalf of the county's Elections Office in 2011, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside wonderful local professionals through the chamber's leadership class, monthly luncheons, and community outreach and networking events. Relationships I have developed through the chamber have served as invaluable resources and have helped me establish award-winning partnerships. I would highly recommend joining!
